Professional Headshots

Corporate Headshots and Personal Branding that works hard for you,

Fiona did a great job. I totally fit the profile of people who hate being photographed – I’m usually the one with the Goofy look. Fiona provided me with a selection of shots that I could identify with and be proud of. Highly recommended.

Professional Headshots

I had an amazing time working with Fiona. She was fantastic given I didn’t know what I was doing, or what I had in mind. The results were better than anything I could have imagined and gave me so much choice to find the perfect shots. She also arranged a makeup artist for me. I wouldn’t have a second thought choosing Fiona in the future if I need updated photos!.

Frequently Asked Questions

What exactly is a headshot?

A headshot is a portrait of a person, typically taken in a studio by a professional photographer. Headshots are often used for business purposes, such as LinkedIn profiles or CV’s. They can also be used for personal branding or marketing materials. A good headshot is a fantastic way to set yourself apart from the competition.

Aren’t they just for actors?

No, professional headshots can be used for any profession. In fact, headshots can be more important than your resume! A potential employer will often times judge you based on your appearance, so it’s important to have a great image.

Is a selfie a headshot? (let’s get this out of the way!)

A selfie is not a headshot. While they may be perfectly acceptable for personal use, selfies are typically not high enough resolution or cropped correctly for business purposes, or corporate headshots.

Why do you need a professional headshot?

There are very few people who don’t need a corporate headshot theses days. A great headshot might help you appear more polished when applying for jobs or networking, which is essential when it comes to first impressions. Headshots can also aid in the development of your personal brand and delivering a strong first impression of your business

When should I get my headshots done?

The best time to book a session is done is when you have a new job or are actively looking for work. Maybe you are starting a business .For an actor, maybe when you, have an audition. However, if you’re not in the market for a new job but want to update your current ones, that’s perfectly acceptable too! The images should be reviewed every few years

How do I choose the right photographer?

When choosing a Headshot Photographer, you should choose someone whose images you really love. You should ideally pick someone you like and feel comfortable with as you will be spending some time in front of their camera. Headshot photography is very different from food photography so please get a Headshot photographer to take your professional headshots!

It’s important to me, as a photographer that people feel they have an image that really represents them, and shows them and their personality in their best light. A mix of studio lighting, natural lighting, make up artist and coaching you through poses helps get the biggest variety of images for you to choose from.

What are Casting Directors looking for?- This one's for the actors

Casting Directors are not looking for corporate headshots, they are looking for professional photographs that accurately represent the actor or actress with minimal retouching on the print. They want to see a range of emotions, and they want to be sure that you can portray different characters. They are much less formal than corporate headshots
